Data Transfer

Tron Systems Data Transfer Application makes transferring data between Enterprise database solutions and Lotus Notes applications a simple task. The data sources that are currently supported include all ODBC compliant data sources (Oracle, SQL Server, Access, etc.), including support for text file importing which is often used to access legacy information.

The Data Transfer Application is fully configurable. Simply enter where the data is coming from (the source) and where it is going to (the target).

  • Synchronise information
    • Between Notes and ODBC sources
    • Between Notes databases
    • Between ODBC sources
    • On a scheduled basis
  • Select and Update Information
    • Select ODBC data using SQL queries
    • Select Notes data using Notes views
    • Specify field mappings one-by-one
    • Specify that you want all fields from an ODBC data source to be downloaded in to documents with the same Notes field names as the ODBC columns
    • Specify that the source data should be taken from the columns of a Notes view, allowing data uploaded to an ODBC source to be different from that actually stored in the Notes documents
    • Choose whether or not to add, update or delete items in the target
