The Development Process

We can help you at each stage in the process of developing a custom application, from first conception to ongoing support. If you are new to custom software development, the processes are generally as shown below. Not all projects require all of these stages. For any specific project, we can help you decide at which points in this process you need our assistance.

Development and Testing

• Prototyping
  Many companies find it difficult to understand how their application will look or work prior to delivery. To ensure that our customers are happy throughout the development process we often use a prototyping approach. Regular revisions of applications are reviewed by the customer and their feedback is incorporated into further development.
• Programming

From working on business applications for so many years, we know that applications have to be able to cope with changing environments without needing rewriting. Making applications configurable minimises support costs and disruption to your business.
• System Testing
  We perform both unit testing and system testing on all of our applications to ensure that they meet the gruelling demands that will be placed upon them in the business workplace.
• User Testing
  Normally a user test environment is set up to allow client review and testing. We expect all of our application to be tested before acceptance by the customer. This ensures that the application meets the business needs and works in the client's technical environment of the customer.
