DSAPI Filters

Lotus Domino, like other web servers, has the ability to add filters to allow more control over web based interactions. These filters can perform all manner of tasks such as:

  • providing customised authentication
  • allowing separate log files for virtual servers, or logging to SQL databases
  • changing incoming requests or outgoing responses

So, even when it appears that it is not possible to do what you want using standard Domino functionality, it may still be possible using a Lotus Domino DSAPI filter.
